Faribault Bowling Observer- Crunch Time

(This week's Bowling Observer is dedicated to Bob and April Phewls)

With two leagues (Tuesday Coffee and Wednesday Night Mixed) wrapping up their seasons, we are getting down to the end of the Winter bowling season. How does everyone deal with Spring when it arrives for more than a day? When I bowled in leagues that would actually last till the end of March and into April, I found the average took a nose dive. It was hard to concentrate on bowling when I really wanted to be outside grilling dinner or in my younger days, smacking some softballs around to get ready for the season. I'm curious as to what we'll see as far as Summer Leagues go. Will it be like last year where there is a pro pattern league that will humble us for a couple of months?  Maybe a no tap league?  Scotch double league? I can't wait to see what Faribowl comes up with.

Onto the leagues and The Three Stars of the Week.......

Notes:

Moonlight Bowling is scheduled for Saturday April 22 at 8:00pm (7:30 check in). Let's have one last big Saturday night bowling party before Summer weather finally arrives

And of course, even if you're not bowling, it's OK to come out to Bashers for lunch or dinner. Here are this week's specials.

I'm a pretty fickle eater when it comes to chili, so I'm really interested to try Bashers Chili.

Until next time, good luck and good shooting.
